Kyrgyzstan's GDP experienced a robust growth of 10.7% during the first two months of 2025, representing the most significant expansion since late 2023 and surpassing the 8.6% growth observed in the same period of the previous year. This growth was largely fueled by a remarkable 37.2% increase in the services sector, which contributed 51.9% to the overall GDP. Additionally, there were notable increases in agricultural output (+2.1%), construction (+8.6%), and trade (+17.3%). Commodity production comprised 29.2% of the GDP, while taxes on products accounted for 18.9%. However, net trade exerted a negative influence due to a substantial 85.6% rise in imports compared to a more modest 44.3% increase in exports.
