DAX Moves Higher

On Tuesday, Frankfurt's DAX showed a minor upward movement, surpassing the 22,900 mark, after experiencing slight declines on Monday. This change comes as investors monitored developments regarding US tariff policies. President Donald Trump has confirmed the imposition of tariffs starting April 2nd. However, he suggested that there is a possibility for leniency towards specific countries and sectors. Trump additionally highlighted forthcoming tariffs targeting the automobile and pharmaceutical industries and has already enacted an executive order imposing tariffs on nations importing Venezuelan oil. Economically, attention is also directed towards the release of Germany’s Ifo Business Climate indicator, which is expected to provide further insights into the current economic outlook.
