During the announcement of its first-quarter financial results, Palo Alto Networks (PANW) revised its projections for the fiscal year. The company now anticipates generating revenues between $9.12 billion and $9.17 billion, marking a 14% increase from the previous year, with adjusted earnings per share estimated to be in the range of $6.26 to $6.39.
Previously, the forecast ranged from $9.10 billion to $9.15 billion in revenue, with adjusted earnings per share projected at $6.18 to $6.31.
Analysts from Thomson Reuters had anticipated earnings of $6.28 per share and revenues amounting to $9.13 billion.
Additionally, Palo Alto Networks announced that its board of directors has sanctioned a two-for-one forward stock split for the company's common stock shares.
