The FTSE MIB index experienced a 0.7% increase, reaching approximately 39,250 in early trading on Tuesday. This rise followed the losses from the previous session as investors evaluated the latest developments regarding U.S. tariffs. President Donald Trump signaled that certain countries might be exempted from the reciprocal duties scheduled for implementation next week, though he also cautioned about impending tariffs targeting automobiles, aluminum, and pharmaceuticals. Leading the gains were Telecom Italia with a 3% rise, followed by Hera at 1.5%, Saipem at 1.5%, A2A at 1.3%, and Eni also at 1.3%.
