Shib fans welcomed the positive news. The holders of the altcoin, Shiba Inu, got a new digital identification system. However, it is still unknown whether they will benefit from this product or not.

Earlier, the creators of the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency announced the soon-coming introduction of SHIB digital IDs.

“Attention, Shib Army! We all love a good surprise, and yours is on the horizon - the very first step to unlock your unique Shib identity is just 72 hours away,” the start-up representative said on October 28.

The launch of the innovation was accompanied by a giveaway amounting to a counter value of $5,000 in SHIB tokens. To participate in the campaign, users should have liked, commented, and retweeted the announcement.

On August 3, 2023, head developer Shytoshi Kusama announced that all Shiba Inu projects will begin using SSI Self Sovereign Identity. It was designed to allow users to control all the data. On October 31, users of the second-level Shibarium network got the opportunity to create identifiers based on the specified model.

The news about the expansion of the Shibarium functionality gave impetus to the SHIB token, thanks to which the coin advanced by 5%. However, bears quickly seized control of the situation. As a result, the asset slumped, still exceeding the recent figure by 1.4%.
