According to revised estimates by Forbes, billionaire and ex-US President Donald Trump does not belong to the American business elite club anymore because his current net worth is not enough for that status.

Analysts assess that the entrepreneur has incurred heavy losses of almost $600 million this year. For the time being, Donald Trump’s fortune is estimated at $2.6 billion. His social media platform Truth Social and office premises owned by the entrepreneur are bringing losses in 2023.

Interestingly, Donald Trump has dropped from the annual ranking of the 400 wealthiest Americans for the second time in the last three years. At present, the real estate tycoon is defending his business empire in court. The civil fraud trial in New York is sometimes accompanied by bad luck.

The wealth of Donald Trump has shrunk by 19% or $600 million in 2023 to $2.6 billion. That is $300 million short of the baseline to enter the Forbes 400 list.

The ex-US president first appeared in the ranking in 1982. The billionaire was regularly included in the list of the wealthiest Americans from 1991 until 2021. However, the COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on his business. Later on, in 2022, Donald Trump recouped losses and again joined the ranks of the crème de la crème of the US business.
