Top altcoins lead recovery as crypto market turns green

According to Santiment, a blockchain analytics platform, several altcoins, including Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), and Stellar (XLM) are signaling a potential recovery after a broad downturn seen across the crypto market. The company's metrics, which measure the difference between market value and realized value, indicate that traders have experienced significant losses. The current rebound in altcoins is projected to continue throughout the week. Earlier, analysts at Santiment pointed to some cooling among crypto investors as they failed to find any traction to support the crypto rally. Experts further explained that “a high ratio of loss transactions compared to any profit taking raises the probability of a bounce.” For your reference, Litecoin is a Bitcoin fork launched in 2011 by Charlie Lee. It is used primarily for conducting small transactions with a low commission. Ripple is a cryptocurrency of the blockchain-based digital payment network and protocol of the same name. Major banks and financial institutions use the token in their transactions. XPR is in fifth place by market capitalization among all crypto assets, valued at a total of $27.5 billion. Stellar is a native token of a decentralized payment network and protocol created by former Ripple founder Jed McCaleb. The altcoin is ranked #23 of all cryptocurrencies, with a total market cap of $3.5 billion. According to Santiment’s data, an accumulation spree is being observed in another popular coin - Ethereum (ETH). The platform revealed that the top ten Ethereum wallets are now holding a large portion of the currency’s total supply. Thus, in the past five years, ETH holdings of the top 10 addresses have surged to 34.6% from 11.2%.
