New crypto millionaires emerge amid Bitcoin's surge

The current buzz in the cryptocurrency world has led to a surge in the number of Bitcoin millionaires. Recent estimates indicate that in 2023, the count of these digital-rich folks has tripled compared to the previous year.

Lately, Bitcoin has been trading in the green, and its steady rise has had a positive impact on the Bitcoin millionaire population. The recovery of the number one cryptocurrency has reignited interest in it, boosting the fortunes of those holding this digital asset.

On November 12, the tally of Bitcoin millionaires reached a remarkable 88,628, an increase of 60,544 from the beginning of January 2023, when there were just 28,084. This boom represents a threefold increase (215%) in 2023. Breaking down the numbers, 81,962 individuals have amassed $1 million, while a more exclusive club of 6,666 have hit the $10 million mark.

Back in January 2023, 24,279 users had $1 million in their crypto wallets, while 3,805 were enjoying a hefty $10 million in Bitcoin. Experts attribute this growth in millionaire numbers to the significant appreciation of Bitcoin, which soared to $37,000. Notably, for much of the year, Bitcoin lingered below $30,000.

Against this backdrop, many analysts are speculating that the recent strong surge in Bitcoin might just be the precursor to the biggest bull run in the history of the digital asset.
