Meta developing new AI model to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT

According to The Wall Street Journal, Mark Zuckerberg's company is working on a new language system based on artificial intelligence. The innovation is estimated to be much more powerful than GPT-4 offered by OpenAI.

The new language model will reportedly produce sophisticated texts and conduct multi-stage information analysis. In addition, Meta intends to make it open-source and free for anyone. The AI tool has the potential to make workflows faster and more efficient for developers, the company emphasizes.

Currently, the tech giant is building new data centers and buying up Nvidia H100 chips needed for AI training. The first tests of the next-gen language model are scheduled for early 2024.
