Primorye Aquarium, Vladivostok
The Primorye Aquarium opened on the Russian Island, a few kilometers from Vladivostok, managed to become very popular among residents and visitors of the city.
The area of the construction, built as a huge white shell, is equal to five football fields and amounts to a whopping 37,000 square meters. This is the third largest aquarium in the world.
It is equipped with the latest technologies: an unusual design of rooms, modern multimedia devices, places for recreation and entertainment, and an amazing 70-meter tunnel will not leave anyone indifferent.
Primorye Aquarium, Vladivostok
On the territory of the aquarium, there are 135 different aquariums of different size, and its premises are divided into 9 thematic expositions.

Alushta Aquarium
Alushta Aquarium, founded in 2003, is located in the city center on the Crimea peninsula. Its exposition is constantly growing and is currently represented in four halls. The building's area of 6,000 sq. m. contains 30 different aquariums.
Here you will find freshwater fish from around the world (including large representatives), fish of the Black Sea, as well as unique species inhabiting the Red Sea, the Pacific, and Indian Oceans. On the last floor of the Alushta Aquarium, there is a terrarium with a lot of very rare exotic animals. In addition, the exposition includes corals and seashells.
Sochi Discovery World Aquarium
The Sochi Aquarium, the largest in Russia, is better known in the international community as the Sochi Discovery World Aquarium (SDWA). It covers an area of 6,000 square meters and consists of 13 thematic zones.
Being opened in the Adler district of Sochi at the end of 2009, the aquarium has since never ceased to amaze its guests with the abundance of marine fauna and variety of show programs taking place in a giant acrylic tunnel. Also, we should mention diving with photography, children's parties and original marriage proposals.
Sochi Discovery World Aquarium
Staying in front of the main observation window of 24 square meters, you can watch a professional diver feed all the inhabitants of the aquarium, with sharks and other predatory fish snatching food right from his hands. The rest of the inhabitants of the underwater rub up against a man like pets begging for a treat. The spectacle is ended with the farewell scene of the diver and the white shark, which shocks spectators.
The famous show with mermaids is no less interesting. Spectators can feel like residents of the ocean and make photos with them through the glass.
Planet Neptune Aquarium, St. Petersburg
The scale of the Planet Neptune Aquarium, appeared in St. Petersburg in 2006, is impressive: the exposition occupies three floors and covers an area of more than 5,000 square meters.
More than three dozen aquariums, located in a particular zone, contain over 4,500 species of marine fauna: fish, aquatic mammals, and invertebrates.
Among the novelties of the aquarium is the terrarium, in which reptiles from different parts of the world live.
Planet Neptune Aquarium, St. Petersburg
Freshwater fish of the North-West is the most interesting section, where the most valuable and largest fish, sterlet and sturgeon, live. The rainforest section represents freshwater inhabitants of warm latitudes, and the mysterious Rocky shore section has dangerous inhabitants of coastal areas.
A nice bonus is available: the demonstration feeding of fish, as well as evening performances which are arranged by professional divers and trainers with sharks and seals. Divers can dive into the main aquarium and take a half-hour walk with sharks.
Aquarium in RIO, Moscow
The aquarium in RIO, located on Dmitrovskoye highway, opened in 2011. It occupies an underground floor of the building, and this is almost 3,500 square meters.
In nine zones of the aquarium, visitors will find both aquariums with sea water and aviaries with land animals, a total of more than 10 thousand specimens.
Here you can not only observe the life of various representatives of seas and oceans but also feel at the bottom of the sea, as well as dive. Visitors with children will be pleased with a small hall where there are shows with seals and fur seals.

Ocean Park Aquarium. Krasnodar
Krasnodar Ocean Park was built by the project of the same name company in late 2011. Comparing to other (larger) aquariums it may seem small and nothing special, but there is something to see there.
The aquarium complex is located in the shopping center Galaxy and covers an area of 3,000 sq. m. More than 200 species of fish, a lot of amphibians, and reptiles live on its territory.
The feeding of sharks, moray eels, and piranhas, as well as the spectacle that opens from the underwater tunnel, are the favorite things of visitors. In open aquariums, you can touch the famous freshwater long-livers, Japanese koi carps.
Ocean Park Aquarium, Anapa
Ocean Park in Anapa is one of the dozens of such aquariums belonging to a well-known chain. Located on the territory of the Galaxy trading center, it covers an area of 3,000 square meters.
The interior resembling the depths of the sea is a special highlight which allows visitors to feel part of the underwater kingdom.
In the exhibition hall of the aquarium, there are almost three dozen aquariums with 200 species of marine and freshwater fish and animals. The inhabitants of the Red, Black, and Mediterranean seas swim over the heads of visitors in a transparent tunnel.
