A statue called “Fearless Girl” was installed in the financial quarter of New York, March 7. For one week, the “Charging bull”, which is the main symbol of Wall Street and the stock market, will share a small section of the Bowling Green with “Fearless Girl.”

“Fearless Girl” was installed Tuesday by State Street Global Advisors.
That was a part of the asset-manager's campaign to increase the number of women on their clients' corporate boards.
Women hope the “Fearless Girl” helps bring attention to the small number of women in high positions on Wall Street. Experts note that 25% of the largest US companies do not have women on the boards of directors.
People stopped to photograph with the “Fearless Girl” statue.

The sculpture, dedicated to the problem of gender inequality in financial companies in the United States, was created by Kristen Visbal. Probably, the statue will please the New York authorities so much that they decide to leave it on Wall Street, as they once left the “Charging Bull”.
