In the United States, the one of the most expensive houses may go up for auction. It's a mansion in Bel-Air, the prestigious suburb of Los Angeles. The house's owners are the large businessmen Bruce Makowsky and his wife Katrina van Zeeland, who made a huge fortune on selling handbags.
Five years ago, the couple bought the house in Beverly Park for $17.2 million, and after a year, they sold it for $24 million. They're asking much more for the mansion in Bel-Air - $250 million.
The total area of the luxury housing is 3,530 sq. m. It has 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, three kitchens, bowling alley, cinema, swimming pool and special candy room - a paradise for the sweet tooth: there are sweets, purchased for $200,000, in it.
There is a helipad on the territory of this luxurious mansion with a helicopter, ready to deliver its owners wherever they need to go.
