Technical progress is an integral part of the modern world. Technology is improving and continues to amaze. According to experts, innovations will affect the labor market, in particular, certain professions may remain in the past.
The chatbot represents the interface of artificial intelligence (AI) interaction with the outside world. At the moment, it is at the initial stage of development. It will take about 10 years to AI to be able to replace real professionals. On average, AI needs at least 5 years to master the skills of planning its activities.
Most experts agree that AI has a higher efficiency than humans. In McKinsey believe that the US business in the future will be able to save $23 billion on salary payments if it replaces workers in the service sector with bots.
The first profession, which is threatened with replacement, is a programmer. It will affect only the so-called encoders - specialists who use ready-made methods and blocks for solving problems. Developers, as well as experts in Computer Science, as before, will be in demand.
The next field of activity, where bots can take the place of people, is personnel management. HR specialists will be replaced. When conducting the initial interview, AI can very well replace a person. Candidates for jobs will be searched through all information channels, including social networks. Currently, such search is performed by FlatPi, Recbo and Mya bots - they help to search for applicants, rank them, answer questions, and send them notifications.
Another profession that can transfer to chatbots is an office manager. The chatbot will cope with the planning of office work, ordering of supplies, registration of business trips, etc. In Britain, a similar device is used - the Betty robot, which controls the employees' working hours, the emotional state of the team, and so on.
It is also possible to replace a person in such positions as a marketing analyst and traffic manager. The chatbot will be able to conduct a thorough analysis of information arrays, as well as its search in a huge number of sources, etc. Replacing the traffic manager, the bot optimizes the choice of advertising channels, controls rates, and develops speed in decision-making.
The bot can also perform the functions of the call center operator. Chatbots will be able to answer questions from users much faster than a person. Currently, this responsibility is assigned to the Twula and Aivo bots. The benefits of using them are obvious: it's much easier for people to consult a bot than to wait endlessly on the operator's response line.
