Norway House Price Growth Slows in March

In March 2025, house prices in Norway saw a modest month-on-month increase of 0.1%, a slowdown from the previous month's 0.8% rise. This represented the slowest pace of growth in house prices since they last declined in July 2024. By the end of March, the average home price in Norway stood at NOK 4,890,513. Regionally, Porsgrunn/Skien experienced the most significant price growth at 1.7%, while Asker/Bærum and Kristiansand saw the steepest declines, with prices dropping by 0.9%. The average time to sell a home decreased to 50 days in March from 65 days in February. Bergen recorded the fastest selling time at 16 days, whereas Sarpsborg/Fredrikstad had the longest at 85 days. On an annual basis, house prices increased by 7.0%.
