Producer price inflation in Chile decreased to 8.6% in February 2025, marking the lowest rate in five months, down from 12.7% in January. The decline was primarily driven by reduced costs in manufacturing, which fell to 2.2% from 5.7% in the previous month, and in mining, which decreased to 9.5% from 15%. Conversely, utility costs saw an acceleration, rising to 26.8% from 26%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices experienced a decline of 0.8%, following a 2.2% increase in January.
