In March 2025, Turkey's consumer confidence index rose to 85.9, up from 82.1 the previous month. This increase represents the highest level since May 2023, driven by improved expectations regarding both the financial situation of households over the forthcoming twelve months (84.7 compared to 83.1 in February) and the broader economic outlook for the same period (84.6 compared to 79.3). Despite these positive shifts, there was a slight decline in consumer spending intentions for the year ahead (100.2 compared to 100.3). Additionally, consumers expressed less pessimism about their current financial status (70.9 compared to 65.6).
