Australia Building Approval Data Due On Tuesday

On Tuesday, Australia is set to announce the November statistics for building approvals, drawing attention to what is otherwise a quiet day for economic developments in the Asia-Pacific region. Forecasts suggest a 3.6 percent decline from the previous month, following a 4.2 percent increase in October.

Meanwhile, Japan will unveil its November current account data along with December figures for bank lending and the Eco Watchers Index. In November, the country recorded a current account surplus of 2.456 trillion yen. For December, bank lending showed a year-on-year increase of 3.0 percent, and the Eco Watchers Survey registered a score of 49.4.
