Huntsman Corporation (HUN) announced on Monday a net loss of $33 million, translating to a loss of $0.19 per share. This contrasts with the break-even results recorded in the same quarter of the previous year, primarily attributed to a loss from discontinued operations.

On an adjusted basis, the company's earnings amounted to $17 million or $0.10 per share, compared to $27 million or $0.15 per share in the previous year.
