Iridex Corp. (IRIX) has announced the appointment of Patrick Mercer as the Chief Executive Officer and President, effective October 1. Mercer will be taking over from David Bruce, who is departing the company. Before stepping into this new position, Mercer held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and President at Iridex.
