On Wednesday, UL Solutions Inc. (ULS) announced its acquisition of BatterieIngenieure GmbH, a prominent battery testing firm based in Aachen, Germany.

While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, this strategic move significantly bolsters ULS's global battery testing capabilities. By establishing a laboratory in Europe, the company enhances its expertise in battery performance assessment and extends its reach in the global EV battery testing market.
