Dogecoin co-founder calls Elon Musk grifter

Despite his popularity and impressive list of accomplishments, some people consider Elon Musk to be a grifter. Among those who don’t have much sympathy for the richest man on the planet is Jackson Palmer, co-founder of meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin.

Recently, in an interview with news agency Crikey, he said that the Tesla CEO was nothing more than a fraudster. Palmer argued that his accusations were based on his personal interaction with Musk, which revealed that he did not even know how to run a script. Palmer said that the first time he had messaged Musk on Twitter was years ago. He had written a script that would automatically detect if there was a cryptocurrency scam in your Twitter mentions and would automatically report them to the platform.

"Elon reached out to me to get hold of that script and it became apparent very quickly that he didn’t understand coding as well as he made out. He asked, ‘How do I run this Python script?'," the Dogecoin co-founder said. Just because of one question, Musk, who seemed to be an expert, has turned into an ordinary user.

"The world loves vandals. They want to be a billionaire one day, and that’s the dream Musk is selling,” Palmer said. He also shared his opinion on Musk’s potential Twitter acquisition, saying that it is a ploy to destroy the platform or further reduce its value.
