Elon Musk against remote work

Recently, many companies had to switch to remote work. However, some employees find it hard to return to the office after a long time of working from home. Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has found his own way to deal with this problem. Musk did not beat around the bush by offering perks or negotiating with Tesla employees. Instead, he demanded that people would have to return to the office. Otherwise, those who refuse to follow the new rule will be fired. In a leaked memo entitled "Remote work is no longer acceptable," Elon Musk told his Tesla staff, "Anyone who wishes to do remote work must be in the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week or depart Tesla. This is less than we ask of factory workers." Musk did not directly confirm the authenticity of the leaked email. However, this is how he replied on Twitter to one of his followers asking how he would respond to people who think coming to work is an antique concept: "They should pretend they work somewhere else."
