Litecoin hard fork produces Litecoin cash

Litecoin (LTC) hard fork occurred on Monday, February 19, producing a new crypto coin, Litecoin Cash (LCC). The brand-new token has improved security and faster transaction processing.

The new fork supports the SegWit and Lightning Network protocols.

According to developers, holders of LTC will be credited with the new token at a ratio of 1 original LTC: 10 new LCC.

Litecoin Cash will have a significant advantage over Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Thus, the average block time of BTC and BCH is 10 minutes, while that of LCC is 2.5 minutes, which will provide faster confirmation of transactions.

In addition, users are promised a 90% reduction in commissions, which should be an additional incentive to use Litecoin Cash in commerce.

Developers said the Litecoin Cash wallet will be soon released.
