FX.co ★ Russia to establish cryptocurrency day

Russia, the country of eternal festivities and unrestrained fun, plans to establish another celebration day. Quite soon, the Russians may have a new occasion to raise glasses - Cryptocurrency Day.

"There is a proposal to make a professional day of cryptocurrency specialist. We will consider it according to the rules. The industry develops so actively, we have to react," Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection Lyubov Yeltsova commented. First of all, the sequence of events is surprising. Instead of developing the regulatory and legal framework for control of transactions in cryptocurrencies, clearly stating the position of the government on this issue, and understanding the very concept of the virtual money, the Russian authorities started from the least important thing, from the holiday. Maybe, it is because the government always thinks about the people and therefore is ready to give a reason for celebration. The Russians, as always, will respond with genuine joy to the invitation to celebrate something. For example, Russian organization The Cryptocurrency State has already notified the Moscow Mayor's Office about its intention to hold a march on Red Square on November 23 in support of legalization of virtual money in Russia.

So, if the so-called Ministry of Fun and Holidays will respond to the initiative of the financial community, then, perhaps very soon the Russians will have another reason to have fun – the Cryptocurrency Day!
