The ECB Governing Council meeting is due on Thursday, October 27th.

The regulator is expected to raise interest rates by 0.75%.

The euro may attempt to break through the range and advance to 1.0500 after or even ahead of the meeting.

It remains to be seen whether the ECB will be hawkish enough. If it is, the euro may well reach the target of 1.0500.
