The euro tumbled post-US inflation.

Consumer prices in the United States grew by 0.1% compared to the expectations of a 0.2% drop.

Core inflation accelerated by 0.6%, above the market forecast of a 0.4% rise.

Although the increases are insignificant, the Federal Reserve is unlikely to slow down the pace of rate hikes.
