FX.co ★ Short-term technical analysis on AUDUSD for November 8th, 2022.

Red lines- bearish channel

AUDUSD is trading at new short-term higher highs around 0.6542. Short-term trend is bullish as price has started making higher highs and higher lows. Our first reversal signal in AUDUSD came a few days earlier when price broke out of the short-term bearish channel while we posted an analysis calling for a bounce higher towards 0.65 if 0.6360 was broken. Although AUDUSD remains inside the bearish medium-term channel, there is upside potential towards the upper channel boundary at 0.6760. Our first bounce target has been achieved and as long as price is above 0.6275, short-term trend will remain bullish. We have bullish near term expectations, but traders need to be cautious as price remains inside the medium-term bearish channel.
