Angola Inflation Rate Slows for 6th Month

Angola's annual inflation rate has decreased for the eighth consecutive month, reaching 23.85% in March 2025. This marks the lowest level since January 2024, a trend supported by the continued stability of the kwanza. On a month-to-month basis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.38% in March, a decline from the 1.59% rise recorded in February. This moderation is primarily attributed to a slowdown in price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages, which grew by 1.39% compared to 1.75% previously.
