Japan Producer Price Data Due On Wednesday

Japan is set to release its August producer prices on Wednesday, marking a modest day for economic activity in the Asia-Pacific region.

Producer prices in Japan are anticipated to increase by 2.6 percent year-over-year, a slight deceleration from the 2.8 percent rise seen in the previous month.

In Australia, August data for the weighted mean Consumer Price Index (CPI) will be announced. Forecasts suggest a decrease to 2.8 percent, down from 3.5 percent in July.

Taiwan will disclose its industrial production figures for August. In July, industrial production experienced a 12.3 percent year-over-year increase.
