The partnership's first North American initiative is the deployment of an enterprise-grade, carrier-standard Private 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) in the City of Brownsville. This development signifies a major achievement in their collaborative efforts. Brownsville is utilizing Nokia's advanced 5G radio access solutions in conjunction with NTT DATA’s internationally available Private 5G Network-as-a-Service (P5G) platform. This platform provides a comprehensive turnkey solution, extending beyond basic connectivity to offer highly dependable, high-bandwidth, and low-latency wireless capabilities essential for mission-critical environments.
