Boeing, Union To Resume Contract Talks On Oct. 7

The Boeing Company (BA) is scheduled to resume contract negotiations with its largest union, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), on October 7. This announcement was made in a post by IAM District 751, which is in charge of the negotiation process, on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the post, the union emphasized, "This meeting serves as another crucial opportunity to advocate for the priorities of our members. We remain steadfast in our commitment to pursue tirelessly the issues that are of utmost importance to you."

Previously, Boeing presented a "best and final" pay proposal. This included the restoration of a performance bonus, enhanced retirement benefits, and a doubling of the ratification bonus to $6,000. Despite these offers, the union rejected the proposal, according to a report by Reuters.
