Americans rely on generous financial aid under Biden’s presidency

President-elect Joe Biden has won credit of American voters with generous pledges. In early January, he visited Georgia to support his party fellows in the Senate election. Democrat Joe Biden promised to deliver $2,000 stimulus checks to every citizen if Democratic Senate nominees win their races. If so, Democrats will gain full control over the Senate. This lavish bonus was introduced by Mr. Biden as a relief package under the pandemic crisis. At the same time, impartial observers view this move from a different angle and term such generosity political bribery of voters. To fulfil this plan without any obstacles, Joe Biden set a goal to ensure the overwhelming majority of Democrats in the Senate. So, he appealed to Americans to vote for Democratic candidates in the runoff in Georgia.

"If you send Jon and the Reverend (Georgia Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock) to Washington, those $2,000 checks will go out the door, restoring hope and decency and honor for so many people who are struggling right now," Biden urged Americans in a straightforward address. "Think about what it will mean to your lives. Putting food on the table. Paying rent. Paying down your mortgage. Paying down the credit card, paying the phone bill, the gas bill, the electric bill," he made convincing arguments for the Democrats at a campaign event in Atlanta.

On the final day of 2020, Republicans, who held a majority in the Senate at that time, blocked a proposal to provide American tax payers with checks worth $2,000 despite the consent of Incumbent President Donald Trump.
