Donald Trump called on Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to fix trade imbalances in relations with the United States. He also expressed satisfaction with the situation in North Korea. However, the American leader is not rushing to conclude a peace agreement.
According to the US President, he aims to remove trade barriers between the countries so as to create fair terms for US exports to Japan. Trump hopes to make a mutually beneficial deal with Japan, he said.
On the other side, Shinzo Abe confirmed that the agreement to speed up the trade talks was achieved. Although, the Japanese Prime Minister did not answer the question about the deal’s timing. Citing the American leader, the United States is not ready to make a deal with Japan right now, but it is expected to happen in the future.
Besides, Donald Trump expressed optimism regarding the prospects of North Korea’s denuclearization. The US President emphasized that the country's recent missile tests did not bother him.
