US Congressman Ro Khanna to host historic Bitcoin roundtable

President Joe Biden's administration will host a roundtable on crypto policy. The main goal is to share thoughts on this hot topic.

According to billionaire Mark Cuban, the first cryptocurrency will play a key role in this year's presidential elections. Surprisingly, the Biden’s administration took note of his opinion. Congressman Ro Khanna, representing Silicon Valley's wealthiest district, was the first to respond. He is ready to host representatives from the White House, along with legislators from the House and Senate, to discuss crypto policy. The meeting will explore ways "to keep Bitcoin and blockchain innovation inside the US."

Ro Khanna, a member of the House of Representatives, is known for his supportive stance on virtual assets. Recently, he backed the FIT21 bill, which would give the CFTC new jurisdiction over digital commodities.

Donald Trump, Biden's main rival, also favors cryptocurrencies. "To further secure America's future and provide opportunities for our youth, I will end Joe Biden's war on crypto and ensure the future of #Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is built right here in the USA. A lot of these developments will happen here in Florida," Trump stated, addressing digital currency holders and crypto enthusiasts during his campaign speech in West Palm Beach, Florida.
