    Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge (China)

    The Danyang–Kunshan viaduct gets the first place among the bridges. It is the longest bridge in the world listed in the Guinness Book of Records. It was created as a part of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. The length of the bridge reaches 164.8 km. It is located between the cities of Shanghai and Nanjing (Eastern China).

    Changhua-Kaohsiung Viaduct (Taiwan)

    The Changhua-Kaohsiung Viaduct is considered the second largest bridge in the world. Its length reaches 157,317 m. This bridge is a part of the Taiwan high-speed railway which runs along the western part of the island.

    Tianjin Grand Bridge (China)

    The honorable third place goes to Tianjin viaduct. Note that China became the leader in the number of the longest bridges in the world once again. This bridge, like the previous construction, is a part of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway connecting the city district of Langfang and Qingxian settlement. The length of the bridge reaches 113,700 m.

    Cangde Viaduct (China)

    The fourth place among the longest bridges of the world is taken by the Cangde viaduct. It is also a part of the high-speed railway system connecting Beijing and Shanghai. The length of the bridge reaches 115,900 m. Heavy-duty materials and structures capable of withstanding an earthquake were used in its construction.

    Weinan Weihe Bridge (China)

    The fifth place in the ranking of super-bridges is occupied by Weinan Weihe, a part of the current Zhengzhou high-speed railway which connects the cities of Zhengzhou and Xi'an. It was opened 18 years ago.

    Beijing Grand Bridge (China)

    The sixth place among the longest bridges of the planet is held by Beijing Grand Bridge which is a part of the viaduct system that unites Beijing and Shanghai. Its length is 48,153 m. The bridge was launched in 2011.

    Lake Pontchartrain Causeway (the USA)

    The seventh place in the list of the longest viaducts of the world is given to the bridge-dam passing through Lake Pontchartrain in the USA. It consists of two parallel roads, the length of the largest of which is 38.42 km (23.87 miles). The bridge connects the small towns of Metairie and Mandeville located on the opposite shores of the lake.
