1. Konstantin Chaykin Joker
The Joker watch by Konstantin Chaykin was presented at the auction the first. The model is in a unique zirconium case, 42 x 13.7 mm, and features disks for hours and minutes as well as a moon phase indicator. The watch dial is covered with ruthenium and has a red rim instead of green as in standard models. Buyers appreciated anthropomorphic design and the watch was purchased by almost $45,000 exceeding the estimate by three times.
2. Bovet Secret Beauty
The Secret Beauty timepiece has a hand-painted geisha, which glows in the dark, on its dial. The 42 x 9 mm case is made from grand feu enamel based on white gold. Inside the watch there is the automatic Caliber 11BA15 and the power reserve is down to 42 hours. The head of the Bovet Fleurier watchmaking company once again supported the charity program. The Secret Beauty for Only Watch's auction estimate was $55,000 – $60,000.
3. Breguet Classique Quantieme Perpetuel En Ligne
The automatic watch with in-line perpetual calendar has an exclusive design and hand-made engravings. The timepiece contains the rotor made from yellow gold, the silvered gold dial that is finely guilloche with a traditional hobnail motif. The complication and sun dials are situated above each other. Through a sapphire glass on the back, the perpetual calendar mechanism is seen. Its auction estimate made up $80,000 – $100,000.
4. Armin Strom Manual Hunt Slonem Edition
The unique watch was developed specially for the auction in cooperation with New York artist Hunt Slonem. The titanium waterproof case is fastened to the wrist with a black alligator strap. The estimate of the timepiece with the manually wound caliber AMW11 totaled $10,500 – $18,500.
5. DeWitt Academia
Swiss young brand DeWitt has its own caliber-making unit and a workshop for enamel hand painting of dials. The buyer of this watch got a chance to order the dial with the picture of his/her own choice. The auction estimate was $25,000 – $40,000.
6. Louis Vuitton Escale Spin Time Black & Fire
A unique orange version of the Escale Spin Time 2016 watch was presented at the auction with the standout cube-shaped markers that show hours. Minutes are indicated with a single hand on the dial. The watch comes in a 41х11.2 mm titanium case with lugs in white gold and a leather strap. The timepiece is packed in a special leather case. The model was estimated at $50,000 – $80,000.
7. Barbier-Mueller Mosaique
The original watch by Barbier-Mueller features a subtle cloisonne motif. Its dial and back lid is painstakingly decorated with 136 mosaic jasper pieces. The Mosaique carries an estimate of $110,000 – $200,000.
8. Piaget Black Tie Vintage Watch
The unusual Piaget model is outfitted with a rare Pietersite dial and comes in a classical case. This watch looks like a true modern art masterpiece. The vintage look is all thanks to the up-to-date technologies. The dial is very minimalistic and has no markers. The timepiece with automatic movements has engraving on its back lid. The estimate amounted to $30,000 – $50,000.
9. Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Off-Centered Cuprite
The red dial of this exquisite watch is made from cuprite and features two sub dials placed off the center. Inside the 18-karat red-gold case, there is the trademark mechanism with automatic movement and red-gold rotor. The estimated price is $30,000 – $40,000.
10. Andersen Geneve Tempus Terrae
The model made for the Only Watch auction differs from its commercial versions by a blend of two colors: the case is made of red gold, while bezel and hunter case back are made of white gold. The red alligator leather bracelet and MONACO in red on the dial pay tribute to the Principality of Monaco where the Association is, to which the auction funds are donated.
