FX.co ★ Passing by the wind: Alfa Romeo first crossover

The Italian automotive industry has been expanded by the Alfa Romeo novelty - beautiful and practical crossover Stelvio. The car uses the Giorgio platform, as the popular sedan Giulia.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Quadrifoglio's fat dollop of torque feeds into an all-wheel drive system with four modes, including Race mode. A mechanical limited-slip rear differential is available, and the Quadrifoglio adds a torque-vectoring rear differential.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has a Ferrari-derived 510-horsepower 2.9-liter V6 engine with two turbines. The handling on this car improves by the low center of gravity.

The novelty is constructed with the ultralight materials such as carbon fiber and aluminum, and that's why it gets to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

Slippery road is not a challenge for the crossover. Note that it is equipped with a cruise control, tracking system for the blind sections of the route and head-on collision warning system.

The novelty's selector is on the center panel. The crossover has the adaptive mechatronic chassis control system.

The Stelvio interior lools like the sedan's one. почти совпадает с интерьером седана. The car is provided with the onboard computer and the audio system with the components of the Harman/Kardon. A number of body parts and the crossover suspension are made of aluminum.
