    Austria took the 15th place. Austrians' average number of trips per year is 2.7. This country's inhabitants are the most modest travelers of this list. They travel a lot inside their country; the most popular domestic destinations are Vienna and Salzburg. Among the international destinations the most prefered ones are Italy, Germany, Croatia and Slovenia.

    The Swiss, just like Austrians, travel annually 2.7 times on average. However, unlike their rating neighbours, their legal vacation includes only 20 days per year, and there is no legal paid holidays at all. Inhabitants of one of the wealthiest countries like visiting Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Malta, Turkey, Greece, Corsica and the Swiss cities.

    The British's average number of trips is 2.9 per year. The legal paid vacation of the United Kingdom's inhabitants is 28 days, and there is no legal paid holidays. Notably, the majority of the british prefers domestic tourism. The most popular local destinations are Isle of Anglesey, Hever Castle, Isle of Eriska in Scotland, and Brignton. Among international destinations are Greece, France and the USA.

The most popular local touristic destinations are Bavaria, the North and Baltic Seas, and Berlin. Among international destinations are Spain, Turkey, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Greece, Scandinavia and France.

    The 11th is Spain. Residents of this southern European country in the average travel 3.3 times a year. Annually, Spaniards has 22 days of the paid vacation and 12 days of paid holidays. The Spain's inhabitants prefer to travel inside the country. The most popular Spanish destinations are Ibiza, Minorca, Majorca, the Canary Islands, Malaga and Almeria. The prefered international destinations are Rome, London and Paris.

Mostly, they go to the local resorts; however, the France's inhabitants also like traveling abroad to the countries like Portugal, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Corsica, Martinique and Guadeloupe.

    In 9th place is Australia. The Australians' average number of trips is 3.8 per year. The number of paid vacations and holidays is 28 days. Australians, probably, due to the geographical features of their country, often travel inside Australia - the most popular destinations are Sydney and Melbourn. However, the wealthier inhabitants of Australia during their vacations like visiting Bali, Great Britain and India.

Per capita, Canadians take 3.1 domestic trips and 1 outbound or international trip every year. Among international destinations Canadians prefer the USA, Great Britain, Cuba, Mexico and France.

    New Zealand is in the 7th place. Every year, this country's inhabitants have 20 days of vacation and 10 days of holidays. The average number of trips is 4.3 per year. The New Zealanders, like other participants of this list, prefer to travel inside the country. However, sometimes they go to vacations to the USA, Thailand, the Philippines, Great Britain and Singapore.

It is the only Asian country that entered the top-10 of this rating. The citizens of the Asian and world's leading financial center prefer to travel abroad. The most popular tourist destinations of the Hong Kong inhabitants are the neighboring countries - Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

    Norway took the 5th place. Annually, this country's inhabitants have 25 days of vacations. On average, the Norwegians travel 5.2 times a year (three out of five trips are domestic). Many travelers of this state prefer active leisure in nature. Practically every Norwegian family has an equipment for such trips (tents, trailers).

    In Denmark, residents plan and take a total of 5.3 trips each year. The legal paid vacation in this country consists of 25 days. The Danes prefer travelling to Tenerife, Majorca, Crete, Malta, Barcelona or Alhambra for their warmer climate.

    In the 3rd place is Sweden. During the 25 days of vacation the Swedes travel about 6 times. The most attractive international destinations for them are Spain, Turkey and the USA.

The average American takes 6.7 trips per year, and, at the same time, there are no laws that give U.S. citizens the right to an allotted number of vacation days. The Americans earn well and they can afford to go to European countries (one of the most popular destinations), the Caribbean, as well as South and Central America. Often, the Americans choose Canada, Japan and China as vacation places.

    Finland rounds out the list for the most well-traveled citizens in the world. Per capita, the average Finn takes 7.5 trips a year (the number of legal paid vacation is 25). The inhabitants prefer to spend their vacation at the local resorts; however, about two trips out of five are to foreign cities.The locals enjoy warmer international destinations like the Canary Islands and Turkey.
