The number of Russian citizens who donate money to non-profit organizations doubled: the CAF World Giving Index for this country increased to 18% from 9% in 2015.
Myanmar took the first place of the rating with the indicator at 70%.
The US is on the second place with the CAF World Giving Index rate at 61%.
Australia made the top three. The index for this country is 60%.
New Zealand is on the fourth place with the World Giving Index at 59%.
Sunny Sri Lanka has the index rate at 57% and holds the fifth line.
Canada is on the sixth place with the index at 56%.
Indonesia slided down to the seventh place; its index rate is 56%.
The UK is on the eighth place with the indicator at 54%.
Ireland has the same rate - 54%, but it took the ninth position.
The UAE made the top ten with the CAF World Giving Index rate at 53%.
Russia is on the 126th place. While the Russians donated more actively, indicators for other countries have also risen, experts explain.
