The American company Kodak presented the camera-phone under the brand Ektra. Its name the novelty got in honor of the camera, released in the first half of the 20th century.

The design is made in the "old school" style. Camera-phone has a 21 megapixel camera with no optical zoom lens and a 5-inch display with HD-resolution.

Other additional settings, that can be used by a photo enthusiast, are: the optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, as well as two-tone led flash. Selfie lovers will like the device - Ektra has a 13-megapixel front camera with the phase detection autofocus.

The UK inhabitants will be the first who will be able to estimate the novelty by Kodak. After testing the camera-phone in the UK, Ektra will appear in the other countries' stores.

The price of this unusual device is $550.

Camera-phone (as Kodak calls it) works on the ОС Android 6.0 and platform Helio X20. Kodak noted that the novelties by Apple and Google - iPhone7 and Pixel - are not the rivals to their camera-phone. According to the American company, Eltra is a maximum simple smartphone, allowing taking photos of a high quality.

To the new gadget the company will release special accesories. The design of the original cases for Kodak Ektra shows that the camera-phone is firstly intended for photoshooting, and secondly - for calls.
