Pixel is the new Google smartphone developed from scratch. Nexus, the previous gadget of this brand, was created by LG and HTC. However, the news about Pixel also mention the Taiwan manufacturer: the latest Google smartphone will use the HTC hardware.

The smaller Pixel model has 5-inch display and 32GB RAM. The minimum price for this gadget is $649. The larger Pixel XL model, starting at $649, is equipped with 5.5-inch displays and 128GB RAM.

The latest Google phones run an authentic version of Android Nougat 7.1 – its interface differs markedly from other versions.

Some potential buyers believe that the Pixel smartphone looks very similar to Apple's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Google says that its phones have better cameras and more powerful than Apple's gadgets.

The Daydream virtual reality glasses is the main optional accessory to the Pixel smartphone. Its price starts at $79. Wireless controllers, equipped with motion sensors go together with the glasses.

The brand fans from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and Germany can pre-order the smartphone in the Google Store. The gadget will go on sale in these countries on October 20.

The Indians will be able to ore-order Pixel from October 13.
