FX.co ★ The International Investment Forum started in Sochi

On Thursday 29 September the International Investment Forum “Sochi-2016" started in Sochi, that will last until 2 October. The participants of the forum will give consideration to possibilities of different industries such as tourist resort, IT-sphere, will estimate development strategies of regions.

The exhibition gives the opportunity to see the projects of Krasnodar region, which presents 480 by investment proposals, 10 of them accrue to Sochi.

The forum developed its traditions including the tendency of interactive projects presentation that was worked out in 2015.

The project package has been changed at the event. Before commercial residential projects composed the vast majority of exposition, now the emphasis is made on transport and balneological developments.

The official programme “Sochi-2016" began on Friday 30 September, but on Thursday the guests and the participants of the forum had an opportunity to examine the stands of companies and regions, which are represented at the exhibition.

The Investigation Forum takes place in Sochi for the 15th time. As distinct from the forum in Saint-Petersburg that is mainly oriented on foreign investors, the forum in Sochi focuses on development of Russian regions.

According to Dmitry Kozak who coordinates the Sochi forum the event expenses amounted to 250 million rubles. That is almost 10 times less than the expenses on Foreign Economic Forum the experts note.

The business programme “Sochi-2016" was started on Friday. During the discussions the experts from different countries consider business and civil society's matters.
