Musk’s PAC spends estimated $200 million to boost Trump's presidential campaign

The sheer amount of money flowing through election campaigns is staggering. Some do not hesitate to pour millions of dollars into the race. For example, Elon Musk’s political action committee spent around $200 million to support Donald Trump. Unbelievable!

The America PAC founded by US billionaire Elon Musk invested nearly $200 million in Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. During the election race, it focused on low-propensity and first-time voters, which ultimately helped the Republican candidate win the US presidential election.

According to experts, Elon Musk has recently become more politically active. He frequently comments on aspects of US politics on his social media platform X. Previously, the billionaire criticized both Democrats and Republicans, stressing that he did not support either party. Over time, however, his views have shifted towards right-wing ideologies. In 2024, Musk openly declared his support for the Republican Party and created the America PAC to back Trump.

Notably, Trump won the presidential election held on November 5, 2024. He became the first politician in the United States in the last 150 years to return to the White House after a four-year hiatus. Incumbent President Joe Biden called Donald Trump to congratulate him on his electoral victory and subsequently invited his Republican successor for a face-to-face meeting.

On December 17, 2024, the US Electoral College will cast its votes for the candidates, reflecting the will of the voters. On January 6, 2025, the new US Congress will certify the election results, while the presidential inauguration is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
