SK Telecom announced a joint venture with companies Aptos Labs, Brevan Howard, and Microsoft. The initiative involves introducing Aptos Ascend, an all-inclusive set of institutional resources for the international financial market.

The partnership brings SK Telecom's Wallet-as-a-Service product together with the robust Aptos blockchain to provide full-scale solutions, encompassing a permissioned network and Digital Asset Control mechanisms.

Brevan Howard's knowledge and expertise will be leveraged in Aptos Ascend, aiming to enable responsible digital currency and asset management for financial institutions and banks on a large scale.

The Boston Consulting Group is joining this pioneering project as a consulting partner for Aptos Labs'. They will use their international proficiency in decentralized finance, digital assets, and AI to help them put these solutions into action.

The comprehensive suite, supported by Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI Services, in combination with SK Telecom's compliant Web3 technology, pledges ground-breaking trade finance offerings within a decentralized, scalable, and data-rich network.
