Germany is on the second line of the rating. 31% of the country's population can boast of a scientific degree. Scientific research of the state is mainly funded by private business. Germany takes the third place in terms of the average annual number of graduates with degrees in mathematics, technological and other sciences.
The first place is taken by South Korea. The country's indicators have actually declined in recent years, however it didn't prevent her from staying on the highest point of the rating. Today the percentage of the residents of South Korea having a scientific degree is equal to 32%.
