The carmaker's factory in Wolfsburg boasts 840,000 cars, which came off the assembly line within a year. For example, in Russia, all car factories produce machines for 100,000 less within half a year.

The profit tax of Volkswagen covers about a third of the monocity budget, but it is expected that it should be reduced due to fines and legal costs after the recent scandal. It is noted that the Mayor of Wolfsburg plans to freeze several budget projects.

Residents fear that the mayor's plan includes cutting the budget of the Vfl Wolfsburg football club of the monocity. Note that this brand belongs to a car concern and acts in the UEFA Champions League.

Workers of the plant in Wolfsburg went to a mass meeting of protest, but all residents of the monocity were assured that their workplaces are currently not threatened.
