In France, Emmanuel Macron won the presidential election. After that, his wife officially becomes the First Lady of the country. Brigitte Trogneux is more than 20 years older than her 39-year-old husband.
The couple met in 1992, when Macron was just 15 years old and a pupil at a private school in Amiens. His future wife used to be his French and drama teacher.
Macron was17 when he declared his intention to marry Brigitte, and she was a married mother of three. Brigitte eventually divorced and joined Emmanuel in Paris. The couple married in 2007.
They have no children together but Macron says his wife's three children and seven grandchildren are his family.
According to Heavy, some members of the Trogneux family are involved in the administration of the new head of state. For example, Tiphaine has worked as a lawyer on his campaign.
