Sapa, Vietnam

Sapa is a small resort town spread in the northern mountains of Vietnam. Although there is no access to the sea, it is quite a popular tourist destination. Travelers are attracted by the local landscape beauty. Sapa is considered a kingdom of rice terraces. Here, emerald fields can be seen on undulating and cascading hills. From afar, these green steps resemble a giant staircase and create a mesmerizing sight.

Corcovado, Costa Rica

Corcovado is one of the largest national parks in Costa Rica. It is located in the Osa Peninsula and covers a huge area of more than 42,000 hectares. Almost all of its territory is covered by a pristine rainforest, which is characterized by biodiversity of woody plants and lianas. Today, there are about 500 species of trees in Corcovado. Cottonwood is the largest tree in the area. It can reach 3 meters in diameter and 70 meters in height.

Thanks to its harmonious green landscape, the Tuscan Valley became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

The Plitvice Lakes is the oldest and the largest national park in the Republic of Croatia. The park is considered a tourist gem of the country. The main feature of this natural complex is a unique cascade of 16 lakes which are connected by foaming waterfalls. Greenery makes this place extremely attractive for tourists. There are beech trees, spruces, firs, and many other plants. Thanks to such a variety of flora, the water in the Plitvice Lakes seems to be emerald green.
