Until now, foreigners were allowed to visit only two stations of the North Korean subway. American photographer Elliot Davis was one of the first tourists who was allowed to visit all the stations of Pyongyang subway. He made over 60 pictures of it.

The Puhung station in the Pyongyang subway is the terminal point on the Chollima line. Six years ago, tourists were only allowed to go here with an escort.

The walls of the North Korean subway are decorated with mosaics on political topics. They depict the unity of different strata of the population.
