In February 2025, wholesale inventories in the United States experienced a 0.3% month-over-month increase, reaching $903 billion. This growth follows a 0.8% rise seen in the previous month and falls just short of the market's anticipated 0.4% increase, based on preliminary estimates. The pace of stock accumulation slowed for both durable goods (0.3% compared to 0.9% in January) and nondurable goods (0.5% compared to 0.8%). Annually, wholesale inventories rose by 1.1%.
